About the ZMA Foundation
The ZMA Foundation was established by Edgemont parents Dina Puccio‑D’Amico and Jen Young. Its mission is to raise awareness about the mental health risks and challenges facing youth and parents and to actively contribute to suicide prevention education and initiatives in the Edgemont community and schools. The foundation was created in response to the tragic loss of Zack Angus, an Edgemont High School sophomore, who died by suicide in May 2022. The name ZMA stands for Zack’s initials—Zachary Markham Angus—and embodies the foundation’s purpose: “Zack Made us Aware.”
Since its inception, ZMA has launched several key initiatives, including parent workshops, NARCAN training, mental health first aid training for parents, teachers, and staff, as well as a peer-to-peer mentoring program for students at Edgemont Junior/Senior High School.
Event Details
Our “A Night in Monte Carlo” Gala & Auction will take place on Thursday, May 7, 2026. The event will be hosted at Leewood Golf Club, located in Eastchester, NY.
